The Holidays

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

The year’s nearly coming to an end. In other words, 1 of the 3 LONG holidays of a Bruneian student’s life is approaching. I already had 1 in Primary 6 after the PSR. Wot did I do? Well, I didn’t do much. I did go to the Philippines which was fun but I didn’t do anything you can call a real achievement. I’m thinking about wot I should do for the upcoming LONG holidays after PMB.

Let me reflect on the holidays past this year. The most exciting 1 was my June holiday.I went to Hong Kong. It was amazing! The trip of a lifetime! After checking into the hotel, we immediately went to check out the famous Hong Kong hawkers & street stalls. We were so hungry that we ordered 2 plates of everything we ordered. Then, we went walking around Jordan. We went to Disneyland the next day. It was pretty boring most of the day but the Disneyland experience came true for me at the end. All the lights around the park closed down & the Disneyland Fireworks Show began. I actually cried because I got that "I’ve always wanted to go to Disneyland & now I’m here" feeling.

The next day we went to Ocean Park & The Peak. The view at The Peak was amazing. It was kinda high so you could really see the clouds and the city skyline. It was beautiful! The next few days we spent shopping at some pretty cool places.

So tell me… How do I top that ae?

What is it with love triangles? It seems to me like small towns with a lot of money are full of ‘em. The OC, Laguna Beach, Newport Harbour… KB. People say that life here is boring - well, actually it is if you’re talking about shopping malls or extreme sports. But if you’re looking for drama, well, KB is FULL of it. Sometimes, dramas are good conversation-starters but after a while they get f***in’ old, lame or annoying. I dunno why I’m talkin’ about this. I guess it’s just that there’s been so much drama lately…

Sushi @ Excapade

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Last Thursday was AWESOME! Me & da gang had dinner @ Excapade. There wasn’t a single awkward moment. Mico & Ryan kept the party-pace goin’ so everythin’ was aiight. Things got even better when Selina came. She knocked on the window before she made her signature entrance. Hands held wide, she then said "Hello B****es" & squeezed in. She brought a Krispy Kreme hat which was shit & her Kanye West glasses. I’m really gonna miss that sexxxy fool when she leaves. Nothin’ will ever be da same without da joy that she brings. Come to think of it, I’ve never had a single boring mo’ with her. We all took some dumbass pics before digging in to our sushi party boat. Then we ordered udon & some funky green stuff which tasted like bulgogi. I knew everyone was havin’ fun because Hannah actually giggled & the most she does when me & Jess hang out with her is smile & say "Arright". Hahah. I hope we do something like this again soon…

The Olympics

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

The Olympics have come upon us. The opening ceremony was amazing. 7 years of hard work was shown. It was the best Olympic opening ceremony ever. Whomever is organizing the London 2012 must be having a headache. My fav part was when the lights were turned off & some fairies lifted the Olympic Rings. I also like the drum part in the beginning. And when the "Footsteps" walked to the Olympics. I saw Lang Lang too. Mrs. Karen was totally right.  She said that she was 100% sure that Lang Lang would perform in the Olympics - all the way in January. He looked like a fat gay loser anyway. Nice performance though. I also liked when Sarah Brightman came out of the Globe. I hated her voice though. It sounded like a retarded parrot. But the BIGGEST news of the night was when Brunei didn’t walk in the Opening March. I mean, HELLO?! Who would pass up an opportunity to walk for world peace in the Olympics?! Whatever… I’mma stop here before I get shot or something… LOL. I just hope USA beats China in the medal tally. China’s gettin’ a bit too cocky. Gymnastics, swimming, volleyball & tennis are awesome to watch. Michael Phelps has got to be one of the best athletes of all time. The same can’t be said for Federer though… He’s on a losing streak. I don’t give a DAMN. I think Nadal deserves the gold anyways. Go USA!!

Should I make a move?

I like someone… Well… Actually a couple of people. But life isn’t exactly a fairy tale & I ain’t exactly Prince Charming… So I dunno if I should make the 1st move… Aiya… Life… Hmmm…
